June 28-30 @ Kings Island’s Timberwolf Amphitheater. It is a Christian music Festival and you can go to the park if you have a pass or buy a ticket. SOme awesome artists will be there: Switchfoot, Owl City, Red, Lecrae, Jermey Camp, Toby Mac & others. Check out their website for all the details. Prayer Breakfast

It’s coming back on Wednesday mornings @ Meijer starting June 13th! 9:30-10:30AM in the food court (in the front on the side where you get groceries.) We’ll have some service project stuff to do after most of them this summer too!
We simply take time to hangout, read a quick devotion, then we pray for each other. Also, there are free doughnuts, pop tarts, & granola bars.

Movie Night

Friday, May 25th from 6:30-9:00pm we’ll watch a movie @ the church. We’ll hangout in the new Cinema room downstairs. There will be some free tasty treats & pop. The movie: To Save a Life. Bring a friend & enjoy a relaxing night!

Youth Band

If you play an instrument or sing come join us for youth band! We’re getting some songs down! We’ll do some in worship sometime & find other good ways to use music to reach out. Tuesday nights from 7-8pm in the sanctuary.

Everyone is welcome (grades 6-12)
@ 5:30 to 7:30pm.
We are gong to look at some of the things that trip us up the most in life. This week: Trash Talking.
Remember, this is a time to relax, be with friends, & have some fun. You can play on the air hockey table, kick it old school with some N64 games, get a board game going, some of us can go up to the gym and play soccer, basketball, 4square, or just toss a football around, or you can simply sit around and talk. We take a few minutes and to look at who God really is.

Join us, bring a friend It is a laid back atmosphere where you can feel free to ask questions or just chew on the information yourself.

30 Hour Famine update

We joined together with 5 other churches this past weekend to feel what it is like to be hungry and fight poverty and hunger around the world and in our community. We raise 837 items for local food banks. We sent $11,371.68 to World Vision to feed starving people around the world. We also packed 10,100 relief meals for Haiti. All together we fed 21,471 people. Each day 21,000 people die from hunger. Working together as the body of Christ we eliminated a day of hunger from the world!

What are you going to start doing to help make this world better? Give up pop and set that money aside to give away at the end of the year to a mission organization that will help? Pray for and witness to people at your school who you don’t get along with or don’t fit in? We are called to go and do. Things will not change unless we, the church (church is the people, not the building) go out with God’s Spirit and do something to make a change.

The Big Deal

Join us for a special church service Sunday, April 29 @ 11:00 am?. We will praise God together with music, then go out and pass out: playground stuff (bubbles, playground balls, sidewalk chalk...), flowers, or just do something nice for people and tell them about the love of Jesus.

Confirmation Sunday

There are 3 small groups going on this summer: (sign up by Brian’s office)

"Do Hard Things": for those going into 6th & 7th grade in the fall. A book about how age doesn’t stop God from using you to do big things.

"Reach Out Don't Freak Out" learn some practical tools for sharing the Gospel, & better understand it so you can be more confident in sharing it.

"They like Jesus but not the Church" a dvd series for Sr. High students who have friends who have questions or hang-ups about the church that keep them from Jesus. We’ll talk about tough issues, and search for Jesus’ heart to leave the religion aside.
